Meh. Maybe age has something to do with it.

All of MY younger years -- from PRE-SCHOOL until High School graduation -- I was the victimized "outsider;" the un-cool one that was tormented constantly.

Then again... I LET 'em do that. I gave them the power.

Now, I'm old enough, and I look back at it all and think: What the HELL was I thinking? Why didn't I just ignore them? I can't even remember their names or what they looked like, but I let them have that much power over me? I MUST have been stoned on something. It's the only explanation.

Annnnnnnnnnnyway. The point is: Think long and hard about who is bothering you. Are they really worth so much angst?

Also: Stalking and harassment -- especially online -- is a FEDERAL crime. You can so report their asses. ^^

It isn't "un-cool" to tell the authorities that someone is being a shit.

Just... God Almighty, but Rowling must have PAID some little ff.net'er for her story and said, "Don't tell ANYBODY I bought this from you; kthnxbai" and then tacked it on at the end under "Epilogue."
